    The Secretary of War requests that you will

be pleased to have shipped for Richmond in Virginia, sixty suits of rifle clothing complete, for Captain William Preston's com= =pany - and also thirty pairs shoes and thirty blankets for the recruits of Capt. Howel Lewis's company under Lieut: John Bowyer --Preston's rendezvous is at Montgomery Courthouse and Bowyer's at Charlotte County in Virginia--
