Columbia February the 8. 1792 Sir I have received in all 24 of your Horses which I think Generally are hearty and doing well. I am informed there is a num ber of your horses on the other side of the Ohio which if think proper for them to be brought over by signifying it in your next I will apply to some of my neighbours for that purpose which probably can be done for a small reward. I have made some enqui ry about publick strays in this fown and in tend in its vicinity; if I receive any I shall speedily inform you.
