I do myself the honor to enclose you as correct history
[illegible] the officers of the line of Virginia during the two last years of the war, and have noted the evidence on which they found in [illegible] t obe claims for pay--I have endeav [cut off]
into four divisions.--1st. Those that were arranged, and continued consequence of such arrangement in service to the end of the war [illegible] claims amount to three thousand eight hundred and fifty dollars 2nd. Those that were deranged and whose pay then ceased, whose claims amount to one Thousand seven hudnred and thirty dollars-- 3rd. Those that were deranged and claim [illegible] afterwwords such discounragement for reasons assigned against their names, whose amount to Seven thousand three hundred.
