Dear Sire
I had wrote you some letters to go by M.r
Green, which I suppose must have reached you, till
last evening when he return'd from Baltimore, having
gone no farther than that place on his intended
Journey to Philadelphia, he sets out next, week,
in the mean time, I have desired him to put the
letters into this days mail - A certain John Coony
of this State has fraudulently obtained his depreci-
ation twice from the Auditor he belonged to & serv'd
in Hazens Reg.t untill the close of the war; I have
therefore to request that you will be so kind as to write
to Cap.t Lloy'd the Agent and Request him to Dai
Retain the Certificates in his hands that Justice
may be render'd the state of maryland.
I want a list of the Men and the Credit given by them to this State on the settlement of Hazen's Reg.t Jos. Howell Jun.r Jn. White
