April 24 1784

I was duly favoured with yours of the 31 Ultimo, and agreeable to your request have forwarded fifteen pairs of Epaulets for the Officers of your Line, for which you and they will please to account with Captain Condy to whom they are Address'd, at the prices inserted in his Invoice, that being Agreeable to what the like kinds have always bought__ I had but one pair left with Bullion & them are to be delivered General Jackson, the came for his grade, you may easily have them added to yours if you choose __ If Captain Condy should not be at York you will please to open the package and Select yours __ They are par=ticularly marked for you ______________________
