Yours of the 21st Dec. came to hand by Post yesterday__M.r Morris has never mentioned to me any thing of the three thousand dollars intended for you__ but I will now apply to him, as I conclude on the multi=plicity of business it has escaped his memory.__and when obtained you may rest assured not a moments time shall be lost on getting it to you__ Colonel Pickering is present, he intends once more to visit the remains of the Army and then close his accounts.__
