Captain Pugh and Myself being two of the Invalid offrs that was continued for life of the Invalid Corps but sickness prevented our Marching with them that left this City to West point--And beeing informd by Mr Read that all the Money was sent to the troops in that part the Countery. Which prevented him of paying Us our Monthly Subsistance--and desired to aquaint You of our present situation which is Very low and requesting You to put Us in away to receive it here--We Need Not point out our distresses--but with Every sentiment of
