Dear Sir

If you recollect when I was last ^at your office you returned me the enclosed account of our Extra Ration which was returned from the War Office with the note made on the Back, since which I have obtained the Certificate required as you may see made under [indecipherable] account __

I will thank you to forward the amount which is 17 Doll. & [indecipherable] By M.r Smith as it will be difficult for me to find [indecipherable] opportunity to send for it again __ Wish if it is convenient you would pay me in Morris.' or [indecipherable].' Notes, as the sum is but small __

Have also forwarded by M.r Smith my accounts of Pay for the Last years service, the accounts for the different Months have not made wont; but have sent Blank Papers Signed leaving Room for P. Accounts to be made w/o and a Recost to be made upon the Back agreeable to your direction. Those accounts Would have sent by M.r Bears but he went from N__ [indecipherable] sooner than I expected__and at [indecipherable] it is inconvenient for me to attend; which hope will excuse my
