I have now forwarded the account of the Goods, as the Yearly Stipends for 1795 & 1796, which I delivered to the Cherokee Chiefs agreeably to Silas Dinsmoor: order the agent for the Cherokee nations, and wish you to inform me if I have done right in transmitting them to your Office.
I have also inclosed a Copy of my waste book beginning from the 1 January to the 30 April 1797, and shall every month send on to your Office a copy of all charges as they stand on my books, till my accounts are finally adjusted, that it may be seen
how the money is expended. --
I have not time to write the Secretary of War this post, but you will please to inform him all is quiet. The troops to reinforce us is not arrived as yet. --
please to deliver the inclosed to Mr. Byers --
