Be it known that on the day of the date hereof, Before me Peter Notary Public for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, residing in the City of Philadelphia, by lawful authority duly Commissioned and sworn and by law authorised to administer Oaths and Affirmations, Personally appeared Thomas of the said City who being by me duly favoured ascending to law did solemnly depose and say that John Green of the State of Pennsylvania Merchant is justly and truly justified with this in the Principal form of Nineteen Hundred and forty three dollars and eighty three cents with intended these from the thirty first day of December 1800. until paid in Phildaelphia agreeably to the accessed account and that for the said fair on any part thereof they hath not nor hath any Person for pay or for this [undecipherable] recovered from the said John Green any payment or security whatever.
