Be pleased to deliver to the order of the quarter master General transportation to the address of Captain Amos Stoddart, at New Haven in Connecticut, the following Artillery Clothing Viz',, [Swirl Marking] Fifty Hats, fifty privates Coats, fifty privates Vests, one hundred privates woolen Overalls, one hundred privates Shirts, one hundred pairs of Shoes, one hundred pairs of Socks, fifty leather Stocks, fifty pairs of Stock Clasps, fifty Blankets, fifty painted Knapsacks, and fifty wooden Canteens, the same being required for the use of the Recruiting Service, in the State of Connecticut agreeably to Return filed in this office
Note. The above Clothing is to be made up.
