Philadelphia Novembr 26th 1800
Sir
Mr. Patton Post Masters at this place has been so obliging as to take charge of the large Seal for the Department of War which was delivered to me this morning__the small one will be done next week__Mayor Hodgdon informed me he had written to you respecting the Copper plate engraving and had not received your answers, as soon as that comes to hand the plate will be completed without delay__
