I Certify that there is due to the following Detachments of Militia & Spies called into service by the Governor of the State of Kentucky agreeably to the orders of the Secretary of War for the protection of the Frontiers of Jefferson County in the said state the following sums to wit -
Detachment of militia commanded by Lieut Joseph Bartholomew fro 14 April to 15 June 1795 Drs 228.95
Detachment of ditto commanded by Lt. Jos: Hunter from 14 Apl to 14 June 1795 215.73
Detachment of Spies from 6 June to 27 Augt 1795 390.00
Dolls 834.68
The whole amounting to Eight hundred thirty four dollars & sixty eight cents which sum is payable to Wm. Turnbull, [substitute?]
