Title

Byers' Complaints, Etc.

Description

Amidst a discussion of sundry accounting matters, Langham apologizes if Mr. Byers had any cause for complaint but it was no fault of Langham's.The blame is on the United States since the money is due from them. Langham believes that Byers is a perfect honest man and has fairly stated what is due him. He will send him the balance of what is due him which may be forwarded if he chooses. Langham points out how slowly accounts are processed by the Accountant's Office.
