In answer to your letter of this date stating that "a Mr. Bullet in a letter dated the 30 August Ulto received today, that he sent on about a year ago, a couple of Pay rolls for the spies employed in Jefferson County for the years 1790 & 1792. " I have to inform you that no such papers appear on file in this office & that I have no recollection of their having been presented.
