Title
Rolled Iron for the Salt Pan
Description
Foxall has discovered that the rolled iron for Hodgdon's salt pan can only be obtained from a forge. To be reduced to the correct size, it will have to be sent to a Rolling Mill which will take considerable time. Mr. Smith says he will undertake the task if given the proper assistance.

Sir
When I left your office yesterday I went in persuit of Roald Iron for your Salt Pan but found that kind of Iron was not to be got - unless they applied to a Forge to have it drew to the size wanted - then they were to send it to the Roleing Mill to get it reduced to size - which I find will take a considerable time. -
I spoke to My Smith about the making of it which he says he will undertake it if I *ure him what assistance he want. -
I am leaving home this morning but return on Friday - when I will call on you as I have some Expectation of overcoming the the Difficulty there seems to be in geting the Iron
