Description
Enclosed is a list of the names of the persons appointed from Virginia for the cavalry and infantry which includes those who have accepted, those who have declined, and those who have not been heard from. Because the Spring vessels have not yet arrived with the gold thread, Washington's uniform has not been completed. The stars for the epaulets will be sent with the uniform coat.
