Sir,
I have forwarded to Col. E. Stevens this day, a quantity of Medicines and Hospital Stores to be by him shipped to you to put in train as usual for Niagara their destination _ I have written to Major Rivardi to inform him of the circumstances that he may know the time they ought to arrive - The moment you receive them you will forward them to Schenectady by a safe conveyance- I hope to hear that these Stores got to hand entire, free from damage or embezzlement, and that speedily - Great complaints are made Respecting the transportation of the public Goods on this route. I hope the present case will be an exception. __ I have directed Col. Stevens to write to you with the Goods and Enclose the Invoice of them - this you also send on with the stores ----I am Sir,
