Enclosed is a return and statement of the clothing wanting and on hand for the four companies of Artillerists and Engineers under Ingersoll's command. There will be due part of the former and the whole of the latter shipment of new clothing at West Point from July to October. He is confident that Hodgdon will respond to this request as soon as he receives it.
