Adams confirms all officer appointments recommended by General Pinckney, and asks that all notifications of officer vacancies and of candidates for replacements be forwarded first to him. Sends several personal recommendations of officers, and asks that all commissions be sent out without loss of time, especially as the New England officers grow impatient for them.
