I am obliged to interest myself in behalf of the persons I employ - Mr. Hoffmans account is returned vouched as directed - you will please to put it in train for payment and when ready inform Major Hunt who will call for the amount agreeable to the order in his favour in the face of the account. You will observe that in addition to his Oath and my Certificate he annexes the vouchers for payments made to the several persons employed in the work. Our neighbour Thorne the smith was buried yesterday I think on the whole the disease declines - the weather is fine.
