Description
Secretary of Navy requests expeditious delivery of guns and hemp. Warns not to let Mr. Hodgdon in time like the present, stand upon trifles or punctilis. Secretary of War has sent general orders for delivery of muskets wanted by navy. A vessel has gone to Norfolk. Warns about Captain William Bainbridge and says he should be well equipped and armed, but not extravagantly. His danger will arrive from boarding.
