Description
Mrs. Murray is concerned about her brother's books and whether they will reach him before he departs for the Mississippi territory. Apparently his books were not in the box with those of Doctor Barton. She also worries that the small sum from Doctor Barton will not reach her since she owes a large payment to her printer and her subscribers are surprisingly negligent.

My Dear Sir
I doubt not you will have the goodness to forward the inclosed as expeditionly as possible. I am ignorant if I should address my Brother by his new title at this early period, but as you will probably transmit the letter under cover, this can be of no importance. In the line you were lately so kind as to inclose me, my Brother observes, that he has not received the books, not even those which went in the box with yours, and Doctor Barton's his letter is dated the 27th of May. and you will confer upon me an additional obligation, if you will inform me whether you think it probable they reached him before he commenced his journey to the Mississippi Territory.
I cannot but hope that Doctor Barton may find it convenient to remit me the small sum due for the Gleaner, that may reach me by the middle of the present month. I am necessitated to make a large payment to my Printer in a few days, and my Subscribers are astonishingly negligent.
