138 Philadelphia 29th June 1798
Sir
I have received your letter of the 22d instant enclosing Paul Ralstons receipt, which shall be attended to agreeable to your wishes. Your draft is presented and honored. The files, the Pod Augers, and Ship Saws shall be provided and forwarded shortly. The Duplicate supplies for those taken down the river by the General is purchased and will be loaded to day, a considerable quantity of Clothing for the Troops is also on the road but on account of receiving no returns at the War Office, we could only mark them generally for the first and second Regiments - such quantity as we suppose will supply the Posts Dependant on yours will be send and the more minute distribution maybe made by you when the actual situation of the Troops is known.
