Description
Humphreys and Captain Thompson are ordered to Baltimore to examine vessels which could carry 16-22 guns. There is a vessel for sale by Mr. Barton and also one from Mr. Lorman. They are to assess these vessels and report on the age, state, and probable value, as well as fitness for purpose. They should provide a list of repairs, alterations, and articles needed to make the ship ready and an estiamte of the time and cost of the repairs, alterations and articles. Finally, they should ask the owner of each vessel for the lowest price accepted.
