Request to Samuel Hodgdon to let a Mr Hollenbach go forth without signing the deed. Hollenbach says he can put settlers on the lands. There is a concern about getting the right kind of settlers on the land. A small payment would fix them to the soil and infuse a better kind of settler. Great care should be taken in selection of character lest there be enemies in the fortress.
