you will receive a certificate bearing the signature of the register of the treasury by which you perceive that the accopmt of John Wilkins Jun. Quarter Master General has been closed on the books of the treasury, by a credit for the sum of one hundred and eleven thousand nine hundred and sixty two dollars and fifty eight cents being the balance of the monies unaccounted for by him which were heretofore advanced from the treasury on account of the quarter masters departments. For this balance therefore of one hundred and eleven thousand nine hundred and sixty two dollars and fifty eight cents you will be pleased to debit the said John Wilkins Jun. Quarter Master General, in the books of you office, by causing such entries to be made for that purpose as shall appear necessary
