In comformity with the enclosed resolution of the House of Representatives dated 28 March 1798, Simmons is ordered to arrange the expenditures of the War Department under the following heads: Indian Department, Bounties, Defensive Protection, and Contingent Expenses of the War Department. Under each head include abstracts of the warrants of all money drawn under that head and the sum for each warrant.
