Dear Sir, Permit me to return you my sincere thanks for the Indulgance you grant me - in writing to my friend Denny under cover to you - I have made further enquiry respecting the Information I had from Mr George James - if any thing is going forward it is kept a profound secret - I have reason to believe that there was a mistake in that part of the communication respecting Mr Shelby Late Governor of Kentucky, atending the Asembly at Knoxvill Mr James is now in Philada - his business his partly with Mr Robt Morris on a contract they had about led mines - Should you Judge it worth notice I doubt not but you can have operturnity of seeing him - Mrs Craig presents her compliments to Mrs Allison if alive & Mrs McHenry -- I am Sir with respect your most obedient servt
