Captain Thomas Wylie on the persumption
that I had received his commutation and land
Warrant as administrator - The Land warrant
was made out for me but retained by your order
because he was Indebted to the United States -
now an Execution is made out against me
but not yet leaved; therefore I want your
advice what to do - If the warrant can be
delivered to me as his assignee which I have
a bill of sale and Power of attorney from
Wilie for his Continental Land - then I
can dispose of the same and pay you
the one half, and this Creditor the other
Nothing has ever come into my Hand
as administrator therefore its very hard
for me to pay his debits when nothing
is yet got pray advise me what to
do in this case - also please to know
what done by Col Pickering.
I am with dire Respect
