Title
Clothing for Lieutenant Hale's Recruits
Description
Enclosed is an order on Mr. Harris for fifty suits of artillerists' clothing for Lieutenant David Hale whose recruiting rendezvous is at Governors Island near New York. Since part of this clothing is for recruits already enlisted, it might be well to send a few suits by way of Amboy if the carriage expense is not excessive.
