Description

Simmons enclosed sundry letters for different Paymasters of New Jersey militia called up to suppress rebellion in Western counties of Pennsylvania. Simmons requested Paymasters account for monies by producing necessary vouchers for sums paid or by refunding any balance to the Treasurer of the United States. Simmons requested Dayton forward the letters to their appropriate recipient.
