Simmons received muster and pay rolls for September for detachment under command of Morris. Simmons deducted $0.06 from pay of Pvt. George Arlett due to overcharge. Remaining balance: $349.69. Money will be paid to Morris by John Kilty. Simmons also received receipt rolls for same detachment for August paid by Lieut. Dyson. Total amount: $244.92, money will be paid to the credit of his account. Simmons noted deserters and future course of action.
