Simmons received letter from Carrington dated August 29th, which enclosed the receipts of Captain R.S. Blackburn, Lieut. Saunders, and D. Petteson surgeons mate. Total amount: $393.71 which will be entered to Carrington's credit. Monies mentioned in Carrington's previous letter should be paid to Frederick L.
