Description
Simmons received letter from Boote dated September 2nd regarding bounty paid recruits. One for Ten dollars paid for apprehension of William Green, a deserter. Money will be passed to the credit of Boote's account. Several receipts for bounty have marks instead of signatures, Simmons advised Boote to attend to situation to prevent trouble when settling accounts.
