Simmons enclosed payment for Vischer and other officers in letter as response to requests made on July 15th and August 24th. Payment of officers stationed at Niagara totaled $424.36. Officers paid: Captain James Bruff, Lieut. Nanning Vischer, Lieut. John McClallen, Surgeon's mate John G. Coffin minus $12.10 for rations requested by Coffin on June 19th.
