Description
James Lowry claims that he left Fort Washington with Capt. Sparks in April 1796 and was left sick at Pittsburgh the following June. He was included in a muster of Capt. Crawford's Company in late June or early July. His term of service expired on 27 August 1796 and he received a certificate from Capt. Butler which he has lost.
