Some days since I purchased a Horse for the use of this Garrison by the direction of Captain Bruff Commanding.
I have (in conformity to your instructions of last fall to Captain Bruff) drawn on you in favor of Messrs Clinch & Van Volgin for 112 Dols 50 Cents at 10 Days sight paye in New York.
I have informed the Gentlemen in whose favor the draft is, to call on the Supervisor of the district of New York, whom you may probably direct to honor it.
