Description
The box of public clothing has been received of Captain John Newhall and the contents correspond to the enclosed invoice. The duplicate receipt for the sum paid by the contractors is enclosed. The bill of lading mentioned it being paid in Philadelphia but Newhall insisted on keeping it at Fort Johnston since he is not going to Philadelphia soon.
