Description

Perkins has decided to discharge nine of the hands employed in the parts of the business that are drawing to a close unless more stockers can be found. They have been given notice that they will need to provide for themselves after the first of the month. George Metts plans to go to Philadelphia to see friends but he will be missed because he is one of the stockers needed to complete the business.
