Notifies Greaton that the charge in Greaton's account for pay and subsistence for subsisting his "waiter" cannot be paid from the War Department by the direction of the Secretary of War. The soldier must draw his ration "in kind" from the contractor. He will receive his pay from Jonathan Jackson, federal supervisor at Boston
