The following articles are due to Captain Kalteisen at Charleston, South Carolina when he is ready to depart to New York: a sergeant's coat, vest, woolen or linen overalls (depending on the climate) and shirts. Thirty pairs of woolen socks are also due and should be applied for directly by the Captain for the remainder of his company.
