Sir - We arrived here this morning after a passage of two days from Savanna have not time to collect any information of importance but as it is port day think proper to inform you of the circumstances I am informed by Major Freeman there are considerable numbers of traders & indians at Colersin waiting for supplies hear nothing from Col Hawkins and fear much difficulty in falsifying the indians [undecipherable] appears to be no proper agent there for their business Major Freeman goes the first opportunity for Savanna & Charleston our goods are much damaged which I fear will operate considerably against the indian trade am told there are considerable pelty at Colerain which we intend shipping by the Brig Ruby Capt Man for Philad am with due respect your most obed serv
