Burke patent pump which delivers 104 gallons of Water in Thirty-five Seconds of Time, by Thirty [undecipherable] if the buckle, and Raised the Water 19 feet with [undecipherable] will Out [undecipherable] for the Frigates.
Other [undecipherable] pumps [undecipherable] a quantity of small [undecipherable] of the Size of a [undecipherable] and a four pound shot, without the least [undecipherable] or delay in working
This pump we think less liable to be out of order than the [undecipherable], and if any accidents should happen [undecipherable] of the working part will be as [undecipherable] repaired. as the [undecipherable] & [undecipherable] housing Six of [undecipherable] against

[undecipherable] or other accidents will be as three to one in favor of Burkes pump.
We therefore take the Liberty of recommending [undecipherable] for the Frigates now [undecipherable]
