Title

Ice on the River Rquired Us to Continue by Land

Description

Upon arrival at Frenchtown, Morris found it impossible to continue on the river that was blocked by ice for six miles. He will continue by land which might entail additional expense but will endeavor to reach Baltimore with the greatest economy before his provisions are expended. He regrets that he was not given some extra money to defray the contingent expenses of the march.
