Captain Morris and his detachment of forty four Artillerists have arrived at Mud Island Fort on their way to Baltimore. The Secretary of War directs Hodgdon to make the necessary arrangements to convey them from the fort to Baltimore by water and land conveyance through New Castle, French Town, etc.
