Title

Whereabouts of the Powder Intended for the Six Nations, Etc.

Description

It is a mystery to Houdin that the order from the War Office respecting the powder for the Six Nations of Indians in 1794 remains unsatisfied but he assures Hodgdon that it was not his fault. He wants Hodgdon to represent him to the Secretary of War in seeking an addition to his salary since he is having a hard time supporting himself in the character of a gentleman.
