Annual Tributes to the Southern Indians
Description
The amount of goods for the tributes to the Cherokee, Chickasaw, and Creek Indians will be sent Monday next for transportation. Harris has received a number of articles marked "For Colonel Hawkins and Silas Dunsmore" There is a requisition of articles for Colonel Hawkins that is not yet complete. Among articles not received are blacksmith's tools and camp kettles.

Sir.
The amount of Goods for the annual Tributes to the Cherokee, Chicasaw, and Creek Indians for the current year are in Store, and will be ready on Monday next for transportation. Mr. Francis finished the purchase yesterday.
I have received a number of packages marked "For Colo. Hawkins, and, Silas Dinsmore." Mr. Francis left a Copy of a requisition from the Secretary of War the Sec.y of the Treasury - for sending Articles for Colo Hawkins which is yet incomplete, as to the purchase two setts of Blacksmith's Tools, two do. [*sends?] Camp Kettles, portmanteau trunks, Post Saddles - ploughs - &c - have not been received.
I do not know whether Mr. Dinsmore's Articles are all in those or not, as I have not seen an Inventory of those intended for him.
