I certify that there is due to the Estate of Lieut. Martin B. Sohier (deceased) late a Lieut. in the service of the U.S. the sum of Seventy Nine Dollars & 81/100 Being the Balance of his Pay as Lieut & Adjutant from January the 12th July 1792 the day of his death which sum is payable to Samuel Emery Attorney to John B. Sohier, Brother and Administrator to the Estate of Lt. Sohier deceased. Wm. Simmons Acct. D. 79 81/100 The Sec. of War
