Description
Captain Fleming has communicated to Tousard the uneasiness Simmons feels about the sum put in the hands of Doctor William Lawton. Lawton was asked to account for the money and the sum he subsequently delivered to Captain Flemings means that he is now accountable for $301. It appears that Lawton lost a pocketbook with seven notes of $50 each which accounts for the totality of the sum.
